“Being the best at everything we do is what drives me personally and professionally each day”
– Steven Aaron
Originally located on a 20-acre campus on 3020 East Highway 80 in Mesquite, Texas, Steve Aaron founded a future refrigerated trucking empire in 1980. With a small fleet comprised of three commercial vehicles and six dedicated owner/operators, Steve’s budding enterprise, Stevens Transport, experienced humble beginnings from its earliest stages. Remarkably, Steve Aaron turned a profit after his first week in business and has since never looked back.
Stevens Transport outgrew itself and needed to seek a new location to support its rapidly expanding operation. When one of the largest trucking companies in America, C&H Transportation filed for bankruptcy in the early 1980’s, Steve Aaron moved his flourishing logistics operation to its current location at 9757 Military Parkway in 1990.
Today, the Stevens Transport headquarters operates on an extensive 70-acre campus in Mesquite, Texas with a variety of multipurpose facilities designed to support all demands of a logistics business. Administrative tasks are fulfilled in a new-age 80,000 square foot office administration building. Mechanical issues concerning equipment assets are diagnosed and repaired in a 170,000 square foot state-of-the-art equipment maintenance facility. Also, Stevens Transport educates dozens of student drivers each week in an industry-leading and highly acclaimed driver training school known as Stevens Transport Driving Academy. The Stevens Transport Dallas campus houses a comfortable driver’s lounge, a full-service medical facility, and a Fuel Department established to council and educate drivers on better driving techniques with the purpose of teaching drivers how to earn more money.
Today, Stevens Transport services many of the foremost food distributors in the world. With a customer directory containing numerous Fortune 500 companies, Stevens Transport is poised to stay atop the supply chain logistics arena for several decades to come.
