Profile on the Alliance Lease Program
Christen Blessing

Age: 35
Hometown: Helena, MT
Family: Single
Hobbies: Hunting, fishing, bicycling, skiing, running

Chris Blessing graduated from USTDS, Wheatridge, CO truck-driving school in 1998. This was his second go around in the transportation industry. He had been a driver years prior and went back to school for recertification. He started with Stevens after graduation, March 26, 1998, and began his solo-driving career May 18, 1998. On May 14th, 1999, Blessing became part of the Alliance Fleet.

"Leasing is definitely the way to go for me," said Blessing. "It was a real smooth transition from Company Driver to the Lease Program and I did it without having the burden of a down-payment." To date, Blessing has logged almost 180,000 miles in the Alliance Leasing Program.

"I'm also a Trainer for Stevens, so the miles have been great, I've never been at a company that offers so many different options with so many miles, I've never been happier," added Blessing.

Words of advice to prospective lease drivers from Mr. Blessing: "If you do not want to run and work hard, you should not participate. Plan your time off accordingly. Think things out Ð you are in business for yourself. Keep a smile on your face, and keep after it!"

Anthony Fields

      Age: 38
Hometown: Houston, TX
Family: Single
Hobbies: Fishing, Golfing

Anthony Fields graduated from Stevens Transport driving school in 1996 and in July of this year, Mr. Fields will celebrate his one-year anniversary with the Alliance Lease Fleet.

When Anthony joined the fleet, he knew from day one what to expect and what it would take for him to be successful. He has worked hard, and stayed with the program, and along the way recruited a few more lease drivers to add to the fleet. To date, Anthony has logged 133,000 miles and still has two months to accumulate even more before his anniversary.

Anthony grew up in Detroit, Michigan. He got his start traveling the world when he enlisted in the United States Navy. He called San Diego his homeport and after twenty years he retired and relocated to San Antonio, but he never got rid of his desire to travel. That's where his interest in the transportation industry began. Anthony's ultimate goal? To own and operate his own trucking company someday. He is grateful for the opportunities at Stevens Transport and the knowledge that he has gained being an independent businessman and looks forward to an evolving relationship with Stevens Transport.
