Stevens helps Emmanuel Njoku become a successful truck driver.
Originally from Nigeria, Africa, Emmanuel came to America in order to have an opportunity to drive a truck like his grandfather. He received his CDL at Road Master in San Antonio, TX. After graduating, he decided to come to Stevens because the thorough Stevens CDL Training program would give him the confidence he would need to be a safe and successful truck driver.
His driver manager, Mike Michalski, is also his mentor. He appreciates the way Mike guides him through situations in order to deliver his load safely and on time.
Emmanuel has completed three successful lease completions. He feels that the many bonus incentives, such as lease completion, gas allowance, and home time bonuses, have helped him in his success. But, the Steven Contractor Division support system is what guides him through every step of the way, teaching him how to run a successful truck-driving business.
Emmanuel plans on continuing as an owner-operator with Stevens until he retires. He is convinced Stevens not only cares about his safety, but they also care about him as a person, not just a number. He says, “Anyone thinking about coming to Stevens Transport will not be making a mistake.”
