“While 2020 has been an unprecedented year for all of us, some of our country and our company’s finest Veterans, Ray and Gail, have shown to be exceptional in the transportation industry in this year’s Transition Trucking event,” Lorie said. “Working with Ray and Gail has been a wonderful experience and a pleasure for everyone involved.”
Ray Miller, who received the 1st Runner-Up prize of $10,000, passed along his sentiments about how much he cherished this once-in-a-lifetime experience. “If you would’ve told me that I would be in this position right now, I would call you crazy. I didn’t truly understand how big this award was, but now that I’ve experienced it, I wouldn’t have traded it for anything in the world!”
Gail Losee, who received the 2nd Runner-Up prize of $5,000, reflected on her journey in the event since being nominated in July. “It’s an honor to be driving for Stevens and to have represented both them and the female driver force in this award. When I first received the call about being nominated, I had no idea what was in store for me for the following six months. It’s been a whirlwind experience, and look forward to what else this industry has in store for us!”
