Trucker Purchases First Truck and Shares Success Story
Reneal Young has just accomplished an incredible feat, purchasing his first truck!
Reneal, who grew up in Compton, California, has been fascinated by trucking since he was a young boy. From an early age, Reneal dreamed of building his own business and owning a fleet of trucks that could help him create the life he had always envisioned for his children. Reneal’s grandfather, a truck driver, inspired Reneal to follow in his footsteps. Reneal enrolled in the Stevens Driving Academy, where he eventually obtained his CDL and started the path to his dreams of owning his own fleet!
Two years ago, while sitting in class at the Stevens Driving Academy, Reneal knew where he wanted to be on December 1st of 2021. Flash forward to the present, Reneal is where he wanted to be, behind the wheel of his very own truck. “I run hard, I work hard, and I am happy to scratch this goal off my list,” said Reneal, “but now it is time to pursue my next goal, truck number two.”
Reneal operates each day with the mindset of a business owner, a practice that helps him always strive for his best. “When you think like a business owner, you realize the ways that you are selling yourself short, and you can easily cut them out,” said Reneal. With the dedication Reneal possesses, he will accomplish anything that he sets his mind to, especially building the fleet of his dreams.
