Rodney Williams
1st Place Company Driver of the Month
Congratulations, Rodney Williams, Company Driver of the Month! Rodney joined Stevens Transport in 2008, following CDL training at Stevens Driving Academy. Over the course of his career, Rodney has garnered great success and has become an accomplished million miler! He is currently less than 75,000 miles away from hitting the 2 million mile mark! Rodney attributes his success to his passion for trucking, along with the incredible support he’s received from the people here at Stevens. Outside of trucking, Rodney enjoys hunting, fishing, and riding motorcycles.

Runner Up Company Driver of the Month
Congratulations, Indy Sidhu, Runner Up Company Driver of the Month, and thank you for your service to our country! Indy joined Stevens Transport in 2016, following 7 years of service in the United States Army and then CDL training at Stevens Driving Academy in Fort Hood. Since joining Stevens, Indy proudly claims that he has never had a bad experience: “Stevens is on the top of their game, no matter what, they will take care of you.” Further, Indy attributes much of his success to the support he’s received from the operations team at Stevens, from the planners to the dispatchers and driver managers. When Indy’s not working, he loves to travel and spend time with his family!

Jamie Savallish
1st Place Independent Contractor of the Month
Congratulations, Jamie Savallish, Independent Contractor Driver of the Month! Jamie joined Stevens Transport in 2011, following CDL training at Careers World Wide. Jamie became an independent contractor in 2022, as he enjoys the freedom of owning his own business. Jamie has further enjoyed the support he’s received at Stevens and the personable driver managers he’s gotten to work with. Jamie appreciates that the trucking lifestyle gives him the ability to travel across the country. When he’s not driving, Jamie enjoys fishing, playing video games, and spending time with his family.

Suzette Guidry
Runner-Up Independent Contractor of the Month
Congratulations, Suzette Guidry, Runner Up Independent Contractor Driver of the Month! Suzette joined Stevens Transport in 2022 after her friend recommended Stevens as a great company to work for. Suzette had always wanted to be a truck driver but hadn’t been able to pursue that goal while her kids were growing up. Now that her children are grown, she’s taking advantage of being able to fulfill her dreams! Suzette decided to take the next step in her trucking career and became an independent contractor in 2023. She attributes her success to her strong sense of dedication. When she’s not in the truck, you can find Suzette hanging out with her kids in her home city of Los Angeles.

John Jennings IV
1st Place Grad Driver of the Month
Congratulations, John Jennings IV, New Driver of the Month, and thank you for your service to our country! John served in the United States Marines for six years before transitioning into trucking and obtaining his CDL in the 90s. He joined Stevens this past June and values that Stevens gives drivers both the opportunities to be successful and the tools needed to do so. John credits much of his success to having been in the Marines, which taught him the importance of dedication. He encourages new drivers to take pride in their driving. When he’s not in the truck, John enjoys playing with his horses, riding his Harley and hunting.

Luis Bello
Runner-Up Grad Driver of The Month
Congratulations, Luis Bello, Runner Up New Driver of the Month! Luis joined Stevens Transport this past May, following CDL training at Stevens Driving Academy. Luis has always enjoyed long drives on the road with beautiful scenery, so he knew trucking would be a perfect fit! Luis loves that at Stevens, he does not have to wait for loads and can always keep moving. He encourages new drivers to have patience as they enter this new career. “Take your time and don’t stress, everything will fall into place.” When Luis isn’t in the truck, he enjoys going to the movies and trying out different restaurants in different states.

Jacob Franks & Carl Davis
1st Place Team of the Month
Congratulations, Jacob Franks and Carl Davis, TEAM of the month! Jacob joined Stevens in 2020 and became an independent contractor a few months later, while Carl joined Stevens in 2022 and became an independent contractor in 2023. They both attended CDL training at Stevens Driving Academy and absolutely loved it! In fact, that’s where the team met as Jacob was Carl’s trainer! Both Jacob and Carl enjoy working as a team, traveling across the country and waking up in a new place every day! Jacob encourages new drivers to find a schedule and stick with it. Carl advises drivers to not be afraid to ask questions. In his free time, Jacob enjoys spending time with his family and attending Rangers games. Carl also enjoys spending time with his family on his time off, in addition to golfing and going to the gun range.

Robert Mason
Owner-Operator of the Month
Congratulations, Robert Mason, Owner-Operator of the Month, and thank you for your service to our country! Robert served in the United States Army for 5 years at Fort Hood. Coming out of the service, he was looking for a job that was logistics based and chose trucking. Robert took the Fort Hood Stevens transition class and joined the Stevens fleet in 2016. Shortly thereafter he joined the independent contractor division in 2017. He loves the ability to be his own boss and appreciates Stevens efficient communication with drivers. The trucking memory that stands out the most to him is when he drove in California for the first time along the Pacific Ocean and passed by the vineyards. In his free time, Robert enjoys playing video games and exercising.

Anthony Ejenihu
Trainer of the Month
Congratulations, Anthony Ejenihu, Trainer of the Month! Anthony joined Stevens Transport in 2017, following CDL training at Lone Star College in Houston, upon moving from Nigeria to the United States. Anthony’s friend had invited him to come to Stevens, and he has never looked back since. He became an independent contractor in 2018 and has enjoyed the freedom of owning his own business. Further, Anthony greatly values the safety culture here at Stevens and has encouraged over a dozen drivers to join the company. He continues to support the next generation of drivers as a trainer. Anthony’s favorite memory with Stevens was when he saw his first paycheck after becoming a trainer. He cried tears of joy! In his free time, Anthony enjoys playing musical instruments, painting and having backyard barbecues with his family.

Sebastian Szombathy
Runner Up Trainer of the Month
Congratulations, Sebastian Szombathy, Runner-Up Trainer of the Month! Sebastian joined Stevens Transport in 2020, following CDL training at Diesel Driving Academy in Little Rock, Arkansas. Sebastian then took the chance to be his own boss and became an independent contractor this past April. He enjoys the family vibe here at Stevens and the care he receives from his Driver Manager. Sebastian has been a trainer for 5 years, and he advises new drivers to pay attention to everything and keep learning every day. In his free time, Sebastian enjoys making new things out of metal, working on computers, going to the beach and spending time with his family.

Jose Alberto
1st Place Dedicated Driver of the Month
Congratulations, Jose Alberto, Dedicated Driver of the Month! Jose joined Stevens Transport in 2009 following CDL training at Stevens Driving Academy. Jose joined the independent contractor division a few months later and became his own boss. Throughout the past decade and a half, Jose has made many accomplishments, including driving over 2 million miles and becoming a trainer. Jose appreciates the job security that Stevens offers their drivers and partners, and that the people here always have his back. He encourages new drivers to “Stick with it and have confidence in yourself.” When he’s not working, Jose enjoys traveling around the world and spending time with his family.

Lorismel Mendez
Runner Up Dedicated Driver of the Month
Congratulations, Lorismel Mendez, Runner Up Dedicated Driver of the Month! Lorismel joined Stevens Transport in 2018, following CDL training at North Carolina Truck Driving School. Lorismel entered the trucking industry after hitting a personal rock bottom, but Stevens provided an opportunity. A few months after Lorismel joined the fleet, he became an independent contractor to be his own boss. He plans to stay partnering with Stevens for a long time, as he appreciates the company’s strong regard for safety and the freedom that comes with trucking. Lorismel credits his success to creating a good relationship with the Kraft team and being a team player. In his free time, Lorismel enjoys fishing, hunting and spending time with family.
