Eric Clark
1st Place Company Driver of the Month
Congratulations to Eric Clark, the Stevens Transport Company Driver of the Month! After receiving a little bit of help, encouraging words from a good friend, and appreciation for the high safety standards that define Stevens Transport, Eric applied and joined the Stevens Transport family in 2005. Having an accomplished tenure, Eric also earned his spot as a 1 Million Miler in the Stevens Transport Haul of Fame! He very much enjoys being a company driver and thinks of himself as a “happy-go-lucky guy.” Recently, with over 10K safe miles and a strong belief in compliance and safety first as a driver, these are a couple of factors that contributed to helping Eric be named Company Driver of the Month! He recommends that all drivers make safety and compliance a priority and discover one thing they enjoy after each shift.
“I have four rules. One, I won’t sell my morals. Two, I won’t sell my values. Three, I don’t drive over 10.5 hours. And four, I don’t work over 13 hours. Safety and compliance help me achieve this.”

Charles Dill
Runner Up Company Driver of the Month
Charles joined Stevens Transport in November of 2019. An efficient and goal-oriented driver, Charles averages 10K miles each month and currently has over 400K with Stevens Transport in his four short years with us! A humble and quiet man, he focuses on efficiency, respect and responsibility, and provides only the best quality service for our customers. When Charles is not on the road, he enjoys the peaceful moments by the water to recharge and get back to what he loves doing most!

James Ratliff
1st Place Independent Contractor of the Month
Congratulations to James Ratliff, our February Independent Contractor Driver! James is a graduate of CRST and started his career as an Independent Contractor at Stevens Transport in August of 2023. He viewed earning his CDL as an investment towards a greater future as an entrepreneur and business owner. Covering over 120K since joining Stevens, it is easy to see it was a wise investment. James is often described in the Contractor Division as consistent, successful, and an IC with seamless business methods. When not on the road, James, a self-described, “easy-going and simple man”, enjoys grilling and quality time with family and friends.

Corey Harrist
Runner-Up Independent Contractor of the Month
Congratulations to Corey Harrist, our Independent Contractor Driver of the Month Runner-Up! Corey had an outstanding month driving over 12K miles! Realizing early on that he enjoyed driving, Corey looked into obtaining his CDL to make his hobby become one that could also have great financial impacts. A proud graduate of Stevens Driving Academy, Corey is thankful for the great training he received and appreciates being a part of the Stevens Transport family. Disciplined and determined, he credits his Dad for being the role model who set the standard for him and what contributes to his success. A humble and quiet man, he enjoys the freedom on the road and all that can be experienced heading towards a destination. When not behind a wheel, Corey makes time for gaming and enjoys creating memories with his two children.

Carlos Gonzalez Martinez
1st Place Grad Driver of the Month
Congratulations to Carlos Gonzalez Martinez, our February New Driver of the Month! Carlos attended Tampa Truck Driving School and enjoyed training with them. He is originally from Puerto Rico and recalls always having a love for trucks. After a recommendation to drive for Stevens Transport upon graduating, Carlos is more than happy to be here! The training, the people, and the many options for new drivers, are all parts that contribute to a steppingstone towards a great future. Dedicated and goal oriented, Carlos covered over 10K miles last month. Enjoying the new scenery and travel that comes with driving, he is grateful to be named New Driver of the Month, and for the support of his family and friends that encourage him daily. For Carlos, it all begins with safety first, followed by dedication and patience.

Christopher Tezeno
Runner-Up Grad Driver of The Month
Our New Driver of the Month Runner-Up is Christopher Tezeno! Christopher was born and raised just outside of Beaumont, in the small town of Winnie, TX. A proud graduate of Lone Star College, he enjoyed his time there and is thankful for their great training. Christopher joined Stevens Transport in October of 2023 and covering over 10K miles last month, he is well on his way to a rewarding career. Giving the glory to God and his parents, Christopher is beyond grateful for the opportunity and recognition. When not on the road, Christopher is an adventurer and loves to snow ski, snorkel, rock climb, rodeo and all things in between!

Liane & Roderick Thompson
1st Place Team of the Month
Congratulations to Liane and Roderick Thompson, our February Team of the Month! This dynamic duo was also named Team of the Month in June 2023! Liane attended Georgia Driving Academy in Columbus, GA and Roderick attended Fayetteville Tech in North Carolina. After meeting at the Lakeland yard in FL and carrying on with their individual careers, life would reroute them both to Chicago. A career move for Liane from training to driving, a wedding, and their decision to join the Contractor Division in 2018, have gifted this amazing couple with great happiness, personally and professionally. Wrapping up February with almost 24K miles is one example of how they compliment each other and work together. They love the experiences they are sharing on the road, the new places, and the support from their Stevens family. When not on the road together, Liane loves to karaoke and they enjoy cooking, golf, and making memories with family.

Michael Richardson
Owner-Operator of the Month
Congratulations to Michael Richardson, February’s Owner Operator Driver of the Month! Michael joined Stevens Transport in 2019 after graduating with his CDL from Stevens Driving Academy and became and Owner-Operator in January of 2020. Michael was born and raised in Houston and grew up in the industry. Watching his dad be a successful Owner-Operator and paired with a love for driving, he holds true to having an instant connection to the road. Driven and goal oriented, Michael takes great pride in everything he does, loves every part of being a driver for Stevens Transport, and is always working to be better. Appreciating the recognition, Michael also believes being named Owner-Operator of the Month encourages him to continue to reach new milestones. Grateful for and crediting “Pops” (his Dad) and his strong work ethic, a natural drive to hustle within him, and staying positive despite circumstances, keeps Michael focused on his vision of where he wants to be in life. He encourages new drivers to keep learning and keep stiving! When not on the road, Michael is sports enthusiast, attends exotic car meets, and is a talented, multi-instrument musician.

John Anderson III
Trainer of the Month
Congratulations to John Anderson III, February’s Trainer of the Month! John joined Stevens Transport in October of 2020 after graduating from Lone Star College with his CDL. With over 16K miles covered in one month and averaging over 10K miles per month in 2023, it is without a doubt, our trainees are learning from one of the best! From safety to efficiency, to the importance of building and maintaining strong relationships, John shares his knowledge with many on his Dedicated TX to FL Lane, and driving for Stevens is a family affair for the Andersons! Brother, Draper Anderson, is a driver on our Kraft Dedicated team, contributing to why Stevens Transport was named 2023 Transportation Carrier of the Year by Kraft Heinz. Outside of work, John enjoys his free time traveling with his beautiful wife Kristina and playing with their grandchildren.

Ruben Guzman
Runner Up Trainer of the Month
Congratulations to Ruben Guzman, our Trainer of the Month Runner-Up! Ruben attended Stevens Driving Academy and joined Stevens Transport in December of 2020. In April of 2021, Ruben became an Independent Contractor and continued to be a trainer to many over the last two years. Averaging an impressive 16K miles, and over 10K miles per month in 2023, it is exciting to name Ruben as our Trainer of the Month Runner-Up! Ruben, hardworking and dedicated, is also an incredible example of the possibilities available with a driving career. Well versed in his business and best practices as an independent contractor, he makes his career in driving, drives him to his life path of gratitude. When not guiding trainees, sharing his I/C knowledge, and running his business, Ruben is thankful for the ability to enjoy non-traditional, extended visits home to his family in the Philippines.

Jose Alberto
1st Place Dedicated Driver of the Month
Congratulations to Jose Alberto, February’s Dedicated Driver of the Month! Jose received his CDL from Stevens Driving Academy and joined Stevens Transport in January of 2009. He then joined our Contractor Division later the same year and over the past fifteen years, Jose has made great accomplishments such as being named Dedicated Driver of the Month for multiple months, an expert trainer, and being a member of the Stevens Transport Haul of Fame as a 2 Million Miler! Jose values the consistency of being a Dedicated Texas Regional driver, the support, and the opportunities that Stevens Transports offers to drivers and their families. When not on the road, Jose enjoys traveling the world and spending time with his family.

Timothy Wilkerson
Runner Up Dedicated Driver of the Month
Congratulations to Timothy Wilkerson, our February Dedicated Driver of the Month Runner-Up! Timothy joined the Stevens Transport family in August of 2016 after graduating from Georgia Driving Academy. Timothy started his career as an OTR driver. His strong work ethics and dedication to the industry has awarded great respect as an exceptional driver and accolades to compliment his hard work. A Dedicated Fleet driver averaging 11K monthly miles, his leadership and excellent customer service skills add to his professionalism that precedes him. Outside of work, Timothy enjoys sharing quality time with his family and friends.
