Dallas CDL Training Program
The Stevens Driving Academy is one of the largest and most successful truck driving schools in the United States. Training and graduating nearly 1000 new drivers annually, the school is located on Stevens Transport’s sprawling 75-acre corporate campus in Dallas, TX. The academy provides a complete 160-hour Class A CDL training course that meets the rigorous standards of Stevens Transport. All training confirms to the latest ELDT requirements mandated by the DOT. The program is available to students of various driving skill levels and requires no previous truck driving experience. Students learn to drive in the same type of equipment driven by Stevens Transport drivers. CDL training combines classroom training on safety and theory with behind-the-wheel instruction and practice on the training range and local roadways. In addition, driving simulator training is utilized to simulate various real-world driving situations.
This industry-leading Class A CDL training program is the ideal solution for beginning your professional driving career. Student drivers receive instruction and are supervised by highly experienced professional instructors, each with years of practical CDL driving experience. With a 4-1 training ratio, students receive the time and attention needed to develop their driving skills. And after completing their hands-on training program and obtaining their Class A CDL, new drivers will have the skills and confidence needed to move forward with over-the-road training with a Stevens Transport trainer.
