Ravene Cavitt

1st Place Company Driver of the Month

We are proud to recognize Ravene Cavitt as our November Company Driver of the Month. Ravene joined Stevens Transport in June 2023 after earning her CDL from Lonestar and has quickly proven herself to be a dedicated and dependable professional. In November, she logged an impressive 10,875 miles while maintaining a flawless service record, demonstrating her strong work ethic and commitment to safety.

Ravene began her trucking career with a clear goal in mind—to drive trucks—and chose Stevens Transport as the place to build her foundation. She remains focused on growing her career on the road and credits much of her success to the support and guidance of her driver manager, Red Sanderson. Ravene encourages new drivers and those considering a career change by acknowledging that starting something new can be intimidating, but emphasizes that the rewards make it well worth the effort.

What Ravene values most about Stevens Transport is the culture of support, noting that there is always someone willing to help when needed. One of her most memorable experiences occurred at a truck stop in Wyoming, where she helped a fellow Stevens driver regain confidence after a frightening encounter with high winds. Her calm reassurance and professionalism helped him feel ready to continue safely. Ravene says her favorite part of being a professional driver is the patience and professionalism she has developed over time—qualities that have grown significantly since starting her career. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, which fits perfectly with her lifestyle, and spending her downtime reading.

Remone Wright

Runner Up Company Driver of the Month

Please join us in congratulating Remone Wright, our Company Driver of the Month Runner-Up. Remone has been a valued member of the Stevens Transport team since March 2024, when he began his professional driving career after earning his CDL through the Stevens Driving Academy. In November, he logged an impressive 11,091 miles while maintaining a perfect safety record, reflecting his dedication to excellence and safe driving.

Remone came to Stevens Transport with a long-standing interest in trucking, and living in the Dallas area made Stevens a natural choice. Although he considers himself still in the development stage of his career, he takes pride in the progress he has made and the accomplishments achieved so far, while remaining motivated to continue growing. Remone encourages new drivers and those considering a career change to practice patience and maintain a calm, professional demeanor, emphasizing that challenges such as traffic and impatient drivers are part of the industry.

What Remone finds most rewarding about Stevens Transport is the people, describing the environment as welcoming and supportive, particularly the driver managers he has worked with. One of his most memorable experiences was during orientation and the academic training process, where he formed meaningful connections with fellow drivers. Remone’s favorite part of being a professional driver is realizing how much he genuinely enjoys driving, along with the sense of peace that comes from being on the road and experiencing new views. Outside of work, he enjoys relaxing, spending time at home, and going to the movies.

Marquis Smith

1st Place Independent Contractor of the Month

Please join us in congratulating Marquis Smith, our Independent Contractor Driver of the Month for November. Marquis joined Stevens Transport in February 2022 after earning his CDL from C1 Truck Driving Academy in Springfield, Missouri. In November, he logged an outstanding 11,113 miles, a performance that earned him this well-deserved recognition.

Having always enjoyed driving as a way to unwind, transitioning to trucking felt both natural and rewarding. He credits his success to the strong work ethic instilled by his grandfather, a U.S. Marine of 36 years, whose influence continues to guide him. Marquis encourages new drivers to thoughtfully consider whether trucking fits their lifestyle and to have the courage to pursue new opportunities.

What he appreciates most about Stevens Transport is the company’s strong commitment to safety. One of his most memorable experiences was stopping at a mountain rest area in Washington and taking in the breathtaking scenery. Marquis says his favorite part of being a driver is traveling the country and getting paid to see it. Outside of work, he enjoys reading and staying active.

Michael Spaulding

Runner-Up Independent Contractor of the Month

Please join us in congratulating One Million Miler Michael Spaulding, who has been named November Independent Contractor of the Month Runner-Up. Michael began his career with Stevens Transport in September 2014 after earning his CDL from Careers World Wide in Keenesburg, Colorado. In January 2015, he transitioned into the Contractor Division, where he has continued to demonstrate outstanding performance and professionalism. In November alone, Michael logged an impressive 10,998 miles, earning this well-deserved recognition.

Michael was drawn to Stevens Transport by the opportunity to build a long-term career with a company known for its strong reputation in training, support, and stability. He credits his success to consistency, discipline, and pride in doing the job right every day, emphasizing that a focus on safety, time management, and reliability naturally leads to strong results. His advice to new drivers is to remain patient, stay committed, and view this career as a long-term investment—prioritizing learning, safety, and solid habits early on.

Michael also notes that the best part of Stevens Transport is the support system, which provides the tools, opportunities, and consistency needed to succeed for those willing to put in the work. Outside of work, he enjoys relaxing, staying active when possible, and taking time to recharge between runs, which helps him remain focused and motivated on the road.

Jose Diaz Medina

1st Place New Driver of the Month

We are proud to recognize Jose Diaz Medina as our November New Driver of the Month. Jose joined Stevens Transport in July 2025 after earning his CDL from Yuma Truck Driving School in Yuma, Arizona. In November, he successfully transitioned from a company driver to an independent contractor and quickly distinguished himself through his dedication and professionalism, logging an impressive 11,155 miles during the month.

Jose came to Stevens Transport seeking a better opportunity after navigating a challenging period in his life, with a strong determination to create stability for himself and his family. He credits his success to a strong work ethic, prior experience as an independent contractor in farm labor, and a commitment to conducting business with honesty and integrity. Jose also extends his sincere appreciation to his driver trainers, Kristopher Mattis and Christian Bodrick, for their patience, guidance, and support throughout his journey. He encourages new drivers to remain focused, operate legally and professionally, maintain a positive mindset, and view challenges as opportunities for growth.

What Jose appreciates most about Stevens Transport is the family-oriented culture, sharing that returning to the yard truly feels like coming home. His most memorable experiences stem from the consistent support of trainers, safety personnel, planners, and staff. Jose takes great pride in being a professional driver, knowing he plays an essential role in keeping America moving. Outside of work, he enjoys reading and spending time with his family—his greatest motivation—including his wife, their four children, and another baby boy on the way.

Nathan Starks

Runner-Up New Driver of The Month

Congratulations to Nathan Starks, our November New Driver of the Month Runner-Up! Nathan earned his CDL from Southeastern Community College in West Burlington, Iowa, and joined Stevens Transport in August 2025. In November, he logged an impressive 10,667 miles, demonstrating his strong work ethic and commitment to the job.

After spending 16 years working in a factory, Nathan finally had the opportunity to put his CDL to use and begin his professional driving career. He credits his success to the support and guidance of family members with trucking experience, as well as fellow drivers who have been willing to share advice and answer questions along the way. Nathan encourages new drivers to remain alert and aware of their surroundings, particularly at shippers and truck stops. What he appreciates most about Stevens Transport is the support he received during his transition from Iowa to Texas, which made the process smooth and stress-free. One of his most memorable experiences has been traveling through the mountains—an experience he might not have had in a personal vehicle. Nathan’s favorite part of being a driver is the opportunity to see different states, and in his free time, he enjoys working with recycled metal when at home.

Jocelet and Elvia Joseph

1st Place Team of the Month

We are proud to recognize Jocelet and Elvia Joseph as our November Team of the Month. Jocelet began his career with Stevens Transport in May 2022, followed by Elvia in February 2023. Both earned their CDLs through Tampa Truck Driving School and have since established themselves as an exceptional driving team. In November, they logged an impressive 20,013 miles, earning top honors for their outstanding performance.

Jocelet and Elvia joined Stevens in pursuit of a better opportunity and a new career path, with Jocelet crediting his wife for encouraging him to take the step into trucking. As a team, they attribute their success to strong communication, shared commitment, and always working together to keep the truck moving. They encourage new drivers to remain patient, take time to learn the industry, and not give up during the early challenges of the career. What they appreciate most about Stevens Transport is the company’s reasonable and family-focused approach, particularly its commitment to getting drivers home on time. Some of their most memorable experiences include driving an 18-wheeler and seeing snow for the first time, traveling outside of Florida, and experiencing the mountains and California—moments that left a lasting impression on both of them.

Their favorite part of being drivers is the independence and freedom the job provides, paired with the reliable support of their driver manager in helping them plan routes and reach desired destinations. Outside of work, Elvia enjoys reading, while Jocelet spends his time working on cars and cooking.

Charles Miller Jr.

Owner-Operator of the Month

We sincerely thank Charles for his service. He began his career with Stevens Transport in May 2012 after earning his CDL through Roadmaster. In November, Charles logged an impressive 11,114 miles, further demonstrating the dedication and consistency that have defined his career.

Charles brings valuable experience as a former driver trainer, having successfully trained five students—a role he found both rewarding and meaningful. He credits his success to his determination, his willingness to ask questions, and his commitment to learning from experienced and successful drivers. Charles encourages new drivers to never hesitate to ask questions and to view every challenge as an opportunity to learn, regardless of where the mistake originated. What he appreciates most about Stevens Transport is the strong support system, especially his driver manager, Johnny Cox, and the guidance provided by senior drivers who shared valuable insight early in his journey.

His most memorable experiences have come from training new drivers and passing along his knowledge to help them succeed. As an owner-operator, Charles says the independence of the role is his favorite part of being a driver. Outside of work, he enjoys online gaming and spending quality time with family and friends.

Nyoman Syartana

Trainer of the Month

We are proud to recognize One Million Miler Nyoman Syartana as our November Trainer of the Month. Nyoman began his career with Stevens Transport in October 2023 after earning his CDL from Roadmaster in Indianapolis, Indiana. In November, he logged an impressive 17,144 miles, reflecting his strong commitment to excellence both on the road and in the high-quality training he provides to future drivers.

Nyoman joined Stevens after deciding to make a major life change from his background in hotel and tourism, seeking a new career that would allow him to travel the country in a practical and affordable way. Trucking proved to be the perfect fit. He has been a driver trainer since 2012–2013, following his first year as a solo driver, and takes great pride in helping new drivers reach their goals. Nyoman measures his success by the accomplishments of his students and the satisfaction of supporting both their careers and his own family. He encourages new drivers to remain patient, prioritize safety, and take care of their health and equipment for long-term success. What he appreciates most about Stevens Transport is the company’s strong safety culture, reliable equipment support, and the consistent assistance from dispatch, safety, and management teams.

His most memorable experiences include building lasting friendships and receiving strong operational support that keeps him moving efficiently. Nyoman’s favorite parts of being a driver are traveling to new places, experiencing local food, and sharing his knowledge with students. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family, watching movies, and reading to continue improving himself.

Dinel Fradestin

Runner Up Trainer of the Month

Dinel began his career in the transportation industry after earning his CDL from Tampa Truck Driving School and joined Stevens Transport in October 2011. In January 2012, he transitioned to an Independent Contractor. In November, Dinel logged an impressive 19,849 miles, further reflecting the dedication, professionalism, and consistency that have defined his long-standing career.

Dinel credits Stevens Transport with providing him the opportunity to change his life and strongly recommends the company to new drivers seeking a successful career in trucking. As a trainer, he has guided more than 15 students, emphasizing that patience is essential to helping new drivers grow and succeed. Seeing his former trainees thrive on the road brings him a strong sense of fulfillment. Dinel advises new drivers to trust the process, remain consistent, and stay committed, noting that success and strong earnings come with time and discipline. He attributes his continued progress to hard work, persistence, and a commitment to improving each year. One of the most important business lessons he has learned is to keep moving and always plan ahead, especially when it comes to fuel stops. Outside of work, Dinel enjoys spending time with his family and friends.

Richard Hatcher

The advice Richard has for new drivers is to stay patient, focus on learning the ropes, prioritize safety, ask questions whenever they’re unsure, plan routes and manage time effectively, and view challenges as opportunities to gain experience and improve. Richard says the best thing about Stevens Transport is its driver-focused culture, which emphasizes safety, support, and professional growth. They would appreciate the company’s commitment to providing modern equipment, advanced technology, and reliable resources, along with the opportunity to build a long-term career while being part of a team that values and supports its drivers. Outside of work, Richard enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Zachary Blizzard

Zachary became a truck driver with Stevens because he was looking for a better future and an opportunity to grow. He credits his success to the guidance and support he’s received along the way, especially from his business advisor, which has helped keep him focused and motivated. For new drivers, Zachary’s advice is to stay patient and stay connected, knowing that consistency matters in the long run. What he appreciates most about Stevens Transport is the journey itself—the experiences that come with the job and the chance to travel. His most memorable moments include driving across the country and taking in everything it has to offer, especially traveling through Utah near the Great Salt Lake, a route he finds particularly memorable. Overall, his favorite part of being a driver is seeing the country and experiencing new places along the way. Outside of work, Zachary enjoys playing computer games, which helps him relax after long drives.
